What It’s Like to Work With Ryks
Ryks Davies (he/him) is a Registered Massage Therapist who provides evidence-informed, patient-centered care focused on helping people move better, hurt less, and better understand their bodies.
At the heart of Ryks’ practice is the belief that patients shouldn’t have to fight to be heard or advocate for themselves in order to receive quality care. He sees himself as a listener first and a practitioner second, taking the time to understand each person’s goals, concerns, and lived experience before building a treatment plan together.
Ryks has a particular interest in chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, neurological conditions, and nervous system health. His treatments combine hands-on massage therapy with education, movement strategies, and a strong understanding of how the nervous system influences pain, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
He is especially passionate about helping people who feel stuck. Whether you’re dealing with a persistent injury, chronic pain that won’t seem to improve, recurring headaches, low back pain, or symptoms that have left you feeling frustrated and discouraged, Ryks enjoys working through complex cases and helping patients find a path forward.
His approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in the belief that meaningful recovery happens when patients understand what’s happening in their bodies and feel empowered throughout the process.
