Shader Mescheder (He/Him)

hello, my name is Shader Mescheder and I am a graduate from the massage therapy program at Camosun college.

My clinical areas of interest include temporomandibular joint disorders, which includes things that effect the jaw (jaw pain, clicking, teeth clenching, etc.), hypomobility especially in the ribs and spine, post surgical recovery, and work to help increase the available range of motion in joints. My style of massage utilizes many different techniques including myofascial release and movement based techniques. I like the clients I work with the be active participants in their recovery as we work towards achieving your goals for the treatments together.

My goal for my massage career has always been to create a safe environment for everyone to receive the healthcare they need, especially members of the LGBTQ+ community. I have conducted research into how massage can be complimentary healthcare to people receiving gender affirming care and would love to use that knowledge to help people who need it.

During my schooling I completed over 500 hours of hands on massage experience, priding myself in proving effective personalized treatments to a diverse range of clients, my number one priority being their comfort and wellbeing.

I am excited to be working as an RMT in Victoria BC at Allies Integrated Health Clinic!
