Kate McKenzie-Cochrane (She/Her)

Hi, my name is Kate. I am a Registered Massage Therapist who offers quiet, mindful, and consent-centered therapeutic massage. My clinical interests include work-related muscle tension, chronic pain, TMJ concerns, headaches, anxiety, depression, post-surgical recovery, and helping people find greater ease in their breath and movement. I often use active and passive pin-and-stretch techniques, passive joint movement, and heat therapy to support musculoskeletal health and nervous system regulation. I also offer fully clothed treatments for anyone who prefers or requires that option. My approach is collaborative, with clear communication and goal setting so every treatment supports what you need that day.

My intention as an RMT is to create a calm and welcoming environment where all bodies and identities feel safe to rest, settle, and reconnect. I enjoy working with a diverse range of people, including members of the queer community, individuals experiencing social isolation, active outdoor enthusiasts, desk workers, and anyone seeking a quiet space to decompress. Outside the clinic, I spend my time dancing, creating art, crafting, camping, hiking, paddling, reading, attending live music, and being part of my community. I bring that same curiosity, care, and creativity into every session. I am grateful to be practicing massage therapy at Allies Integrated Health and supporting patients in their journey toward comfort, ease, and embodied well-being.

Note: Kate is currently on leave as of November 2025
