Janna Malo (she/her)

I am the owner and founder of Allies Integrated Health, a board-certified registered acupuncturist, and a dedicated advocate for inclusive, gender-affirming, and trauma-informed care. My approach is deeply holistic, blending acupuncture, cupping, TuiNa (Chinese massage), QiGong, and individualized lifestyle and herbal recommendations to support both physical and emotional well-being. Creating a welcoming, affirming space is at the heart of my practice, and I am especially passionate about working with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, including those undergoing gender-affirming care.

Beyond gender-affirming healthcare, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals experiencing stress, PTSD and CPTSD, anxiety, and those who are neurodivergent. My treatments are rooted in a deep understanding of the nervous system, using gentle yet effective techniques to promote regulation, resilience, and a sense of safety in the body. I believe in honouring each patient’s unique experience and collaborate closely to create treatment plans that foster both immediate relief and long-term well-being.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, am a certified community herbalist from Pacific Rim College, and am a WPATH member with Level 1 GEI Foundations training. Currently, I am pursuing my Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine, staying dedicated to lifelong learning and integrating evidence-informed, compassionate care into my practice. My goal is to cultivate a safer, collaborative healing space where patients feel empowered, heard, and supported in their wellness journey.
