Hi, my name is Emily MacLean (she/her), and I’m an acupuncturist at Allies Integrated Health in Victoria, BC. I offer integrative acupuncture care rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on gentle, whole-person healing and nervous system support.
I graduated from the Acupuncture Program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, where I completed extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, clinical practice, and holistic patient care. I moved to Victoria about four years ago, and I’ve come to deeply appreciate the balance of nature, community, and slower rhythms of life that can support meaningful healing.
My path into holistic medicine is personal. Living with an autoimmune condition taught me firsthand the importance of listening to the body, supporting the nervous system, and approaching health from a whole-person perspective. This experience continues to shape how I practice, with empathy, patience, and genuine care for each individual I work with.
In my sessions, I offer acupuncture alongside supportive modalities such as cupping, Gua Sha, bodywork, non-RMT massage and Reiki. Every treatment is tailored to meet you where you are, with care that honours your goals, comfort, and lived experience.
I especially enjoy working with clients seeking acupuncture in Victoria for chronic pain, muscle tension, stress, autoimmune conditions, post-surgical recovery, and life transitions. My practice is welcoming to people of all genders and life experiences, and I aim to create a grounded, collaborative space where healing feels restorative and empowering.
I’m best suited for clients who are looking for personalized, thoughtful treatments rather than fast, clinical-only sessions. My focus is on gentle, integrative care that supports lasting balance over time.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy hiking, sauna sessions, journaling, art, cozy coffee moments, spending time with friends, and crocheting, practices that keep me connected, creative, and grounded.
