Patient and Practitioners, Staff Etiquette
To ensure this environment and to uphold the Complementary Health Professionals of BC Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics under the Health Professions Act, we have a firm policy against practitioners, patients and staff engaging in inflammatory/divisive conversation topics. We believe that focusing on health and healing is essential, and for this reason, we expect all conversations to remain respectful and appropriate.
Additionally, we have a zero tolerance for harassment, violence and discrimination. Any themes of a sexual nature should be reserved for speaking with the appropriate practitioner and only in the case of clinical relevance.
At Allies Integrated Health, we believe that mutual respect is essential to a successful and healing environment, and we thank you for helping us uphold this standard.

Cancellation Policy
At Allies Integrated Health, we value your time and strive to provide the best care possible. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, and a late cancellation creates a gap in our schedule that could have been filled by another patient in need of care. To respect both our practitioners’ time and the needs of other patients, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Without this notice, a fee of up to the full cost of the missed appointment may be applied. We will do everything reasonably possible to fill this appointment time and if we succeed, you will not be charged any fee.
We understand that illness and personal circumstances can arise unexpectedly and strive to manage each circumstance accordingly with consideration to both the patient and the practitioners. A credit card on file is required for all appointments, and by providing your card details, you consent to any cancellation fees being charged accordingly.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an efficient and respectful schedule for all our patients.
